I started Content By Sophie because I saw a gap. So many amazing local businesses weren’t getting the attention they deserved online. They were posting on social media, staying consistent, doing everything they thought they should be doing… but not actually seeing it turn into real customers. And that’s the part that matters most.
Posting content is one thing, but creating content that genuinely connects with people and makes them take action is something completely different. That’s where I come in. I’ve been creating content for over six years now, working with brands all across the UK. During that time, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with well-known names like Garnier, Maybelline, L’Oréal, Boux Avenue and more. Through those experiences, I’ve learned exactly what performs well, what captures attention, and what makes people engage.
A couple of years ago, I naturally started working more closely with local businesses—visiting them, filming my real experiences, and sharing that content across my platforms. I quickly saw the impact that authentic, well-thought-out content could have, especially for smaller businesses trying to grow.
As I worked with more businesses, I realised that a lot of them didn’t just need content, they needed ongoing support. That’s why I also offer social media management, taking the pressure off business owners by handling everything from planning and posting to strategy and growth.
